From: Manuel Sanabria
Subject: TALENT SHOW for the closure of the semester.
Date: 1st September 2014

PURPOSE
I have been asked to suggest cultural activities that are appealing for the students for these activities of closure of the semester. One of the goals of this report is to motivate teachers and students as well in this activity.

GENERAL ANALYSIS
The activities can be musical or in a more general sense “cultural”, which can mean theatre plays or others as writing and reciting poems for instance. To give my opinion I must take into account several parameters as: ages of the participants, mainly the students who are the real goal of this activity, according with their age, their tastes, etc.

Teenagers are very fond in musical environments and this in a widely variety of styles. Poetry in not strange for them, especially if developed as a musical version as “rap” can be.

CONCLUSION

Considering the ages of the students I think music is the more popular cultural activity between people of these ages, that is to say, people who are between eighteen to twenty five years old. Poetry in rap version is not only very rich in popular speech, but furthermore have a rich lexicon an a surprisingly elaborated grammar. The other activities, as theatre or sheer poems recites, if proposed by the students can be welcome, of course.
